Abstract:
Boundaries of Montana Incorporated Places (city limits) and Census Designated Places from 1992 U.S. Census Bureau TIGER files. Incorporated places are any places that have the text ' city' or ' town' in their NAME attribute, plus Butte-Silver Bow and Anaconda-Deer Lodge Counties. Census Designated Places have the text 'CDP' in their NAMEs. There are 50 cities, 76 towns, 34 CDPs, and 2 Counties. The coverage E00 version of the data has annotation for each type of place, on annotation level 1 for cities, 2 for towns, 3 for CDPs, and 4 for Counties.
